I am a book designer and writer living in South Carolina. My essays have appeared most recently in Chautauqua and Matter Journal, and online for the DIAGRAM, Oxford American, Fringe, and the Rumpus. My MFA in Nonfiction is from University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I also served as Assistant Editor of the literary magazine, Ecotone, and worked for the literary imprint Lookout Books. I currently live in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where I am the Director of Hub City Press. I design all of Hub City Press's national literary titles.

In addition to my work at Hub City, I also work with independent and university presses across the country in a freelance capacity, providing both covers and interior typesetting. I can do most any genre, but find I'm particularly drawn to biography/memoir and literary fiction. I also facilitate production and printing for individuals looking to self-publish or print books for a particular purpose. If you have a print project that you need help with, please email me or reach out through 99Designs project management system (link below).
